The first group of CLAIM men are here. Our goal is to finish framing the interior and exterior walls by the end of November. This is a BIG goal and we need as many volunteers as possible. If you can volunteer or help out in any way (meals, cleaning, etc.), contact Rathana “Kevin” Sin or you can reach him at (562) 424-7714 ext. 311.
Here are several projects we are working on:
- the other 2 retaining walls
- Sealing the retaining walls
- Putting the steel studs up on walls
- Making our own steel clips by cutting some of our steel studs. This is saving us thousands of dollars.
- Men cleaning part of the steel of our gymnasium to paint the beam.
