Update

Finishing the Exterior Walls..

We are currently working on finishing the exterior walls. We are also working on putting the rebar in the footings for the stairs. We are almost done working on the rain drainage system and hope to finish by the end of this week. The elevator has been completed and we will pour concrete in it soon. We can use all the extra help we can get and we encourage you to show up to all our work parties and anytime you can help out.

Almost Finished…

We are almost finished with the exterior framing. We are working to finish it by the end of this week. We encourage you to show up to all our work parties and anytime you can help out. The new CLAIM team will be here on October 24th and we can use all the extra help we can get.

We are working to finish the rest of the exterior walls by this week.

We are working on making stairs for our entrance way from the parking lot.

This is the electrical room that we are working on. This will control all the power in our new building.

These are the CLAIM men that came from North Carolina to help us build the electrical room in the one week that they will be here.

These are all the supplies that will be going into the electrical room.

We are working on putting the mesh onto the second floor so we can pour concrete on the bumpy surfaces of the steel.

Thank you for doing your part! In the past month, we have seen much progress thanks to our faithful men and the help of our CLAIM teams:

Framing on the exterior walls is about 60% complete.
Mezzanine decking is 95%complete.
All retaining walls are poured.
Waterproofing of retaining wall is complete.
Inspection of retaining wall waterproofing and drainage pipe has passed city inspection.
Digging of elevator pit is 80% complete.
Painting of gymnasium steel is about 40% complete.
Seventy-five percent of all window and door headers are built.
The grading is complete on 33rd street side for machinery to drive on.
The construction shed, storage shelf, and miscellaneous supplies are moved to a new location so we can start the new entrance walkway.
All broken plumbing pipes are fixed.
All safety handrails are installed on 2nd floor and around elevator pit.
