The men on the jobsite worked on pouring more concrete this Thursday for additional retaining walls. These will eventually form a ramp and stairs area for easier access from the parking lot to the new building. There will also be a patio fellowship area around it. It is exciting to see this project taking shape! As we prepare for Offering Sunday this week, we are thankful for all that has been done, and we look forward to Phase One of our project Finishing Strong this year!
Ramp Work
Now that the first retaining wall and planters are up, the men are working on preparing the area for a ramp and stairs. They have set up the framework for more retaining walls as well as some structure for the stair area. Soon they will pour concrete for these as well. It is exciting to see this project taking shape more and more every day! We are thankful for the willing laborers as well as for your giving and prayers.
Pouring Concrete!
Last week we poured concrete for our first retaining wall. We are excited about the progress made! Bro. Lyle and Mrs. Rose Snakenberg will be coming soon to help us for a whole month! They are always a great blessing to our church and we look forward to all that will be accomplished while they are here. Please pray for their safety in travel, as well as for the safety of those working.
Retaining Wall Progress
As our concrete ramp is under construction, the men are working on structuring the area. They are putting in a retaining wall as well as rebar framing around the perimeter. We praise the Lord for all the progress that has been accomplished as well as for the willing hands that have been laboring on this project!
Concrete Ramp Begun
The men on the job site have begun work on what was once our dirt heap, which will soon be a concrete ramp to access the new building! They have been moving dirt and preparing the area all week. Thanks to a church member who volunteered his construction services for the project, it will cost a third of the original price!
