The pulpit for our new auditorium has arrived! It just needs a few finishing touches before we move it to its place on the platform. We have also added some usher stations along the back wall. Our platform chairs and tables will be set up on the platform soon. It is exciting to see our new auditorium coming together!
Please be in prayer with us for the last few inspections coming up! Once these are done, we will officially end Phase One of our building program and be able to take up occupancy in our new building. The plumbing inspection was done last week. Now we just have electrical, fire, and then the final inspection to ensure the building can be used safely. Please pray for God’s favor and the city’s approval so that we can move forward!
Doors to the new auditorium are being installed along the main hallway and the foyer. They will also be installing doors in the coffee shop. Under the balcony, new speakers have been put in. They are working on getting the sound booth ready to go as well. The men and ladies restrooms are complete and looking great. Praise the Lord for all the progress that has been done so far!
We are looking forward to getting into our new building this year! All the carpet is installed in the new auditorium. The PA system has been set up, including a media booth. Chairs will be going in soon. Thank you to all who gave towards our chair buying campaign! We also have beautiful new light fixtures in the main foyer. Please pray with us for our final inspection to pass so we can be permitted occupancy.
The auditorium is about to look remarkably different after this week. The carpet shipments have arrived and will be installed in the next few days! Once that is down, the chairs can be brought in and arranged. The men on the job site have also installed the media screens and projectors as well as speakers for the PA system.
